I am reading on other sites that there is no dual exhaust on the sport trim? Surely not.

Welcome @NeverOwnedaNissan! That doesn't sound right, all the photos of the Z on Nissan's website show dual exhausts. I'd be surprised if they put a single exhaust on the Sport models.

I agree, someone must have wires crossed somewhere. Car and Driver say "the Performance trim is visually distinguished by front and rear spoilers and dual exhaust" and I cannot imagine this with just a single exhaust when looking at the rear. I saw it on one other site too hence my confusion.

I found the answer . both Zs have the dual exhaust. the sport has chrome tips the performance has a different muffler and those tips with the holes in them
