I can definitely see a lot of that kind of matching going on with people's orders. It's still odd that Nissan USA hasn't explained what the process will be while Nissan Canada had online reservations.

I won't mind going for a different spec if it means I get a Z sooner.

only thing im flexible on is the interior. im so on the fence about the red vs all black that maybe it will be better that I let fate decide on which one I have access to first lol

Likewise, I don't think there is a single bad interior/exterior color pairing, so not much to miss out on. But being a big Nissan fan, pushing for red is what I would do. It just seems right.

Just checked Wikipedia and the page says that the upcoming model will be the first one without any number in its name that usually reflects the engine displacement. Just wondering if there is any specific reason for this?

because the displacement is smaller than the previous generation so to the casual onlooker from a marketing standpoint it would seem like a step backwards to go from a 370z back to a 300

my speculation is since this car pulls from a lot of generations calling it just a Z is like a a nod to it encompassing DNA from all the previous cars

That would look killer on a darker color Z but on Silver I could see myself making it clear.
