Watch the manual base Z launching at Las Vegas Motor Speedway!
It's not official yet but the estimates are somewhere around 4-4.5 seconds from what i've seen. That's some acceleration there. How much time does Nissan claim about its reaching from 0 to 60 BTW?
Oof, that'd be pretty rough, considering it wouldn't mark a substantial improvement over the 370Z, a model put into production in the early years of the Industrial Revolution. I've seen professional reviews of 370s in the mid-high 4s, as it is, and that's sans launch control. Plus, although Nissan is seemingly preparing us for this given their persistent language about the Z "not being about acceleration numbers," this would make it look rather leisurely compared with the 3.0 Supra, its most direct competitor. It's not official yet but the estimates are somewhere around 4-4.5 seconds from what i've seen.
Thanks for the info. Let's wait and see what they reveal in their official statement. It's not official yet but the estimates are somewhere around 4-4.5 seconds from what i've seen.
