Some may see that as not losing money over time...

I kind of see it as sinking money into something to insure, and secure for almost 20 years, with little enjoyment, and while not much financial loss... not much gain, either... unless the car was original purchased with a loan... then the interest was a sunk cost.

If you are going to pay for something... may as well enjoy it.

Yeah I'd be interested to see what the owner of the car does with it. Whether they actually enjoy it as is or start some kind of a build or if they store it forever as some sort of a time capsule.

The guy who paid almost 37k for an unmolested 240SX several months ago paid that much because he and his wife dated in one back in the day. Go figure...
