The 2021+ Nissan 400Z specs already indicate its a true successor to the aging 370Z.
At least that's what the rumors and some clearer indications of whats to come suggest. But how good of a 370Z replacement should we expect this to be? A twin-turbo V6, RWD with optional AWD, along with others we've heard are all great, Z's however are about much more than these big features. What remains is if the 400Z will be a drivers car and that entails a lot. Thoughts?

Dont care for an AWD option.. thats what the GTR is for.

Z cars have traditionally been RWD and i hope they maintain that. Given its only a reskin of the Z34, itll be mainly the same under the new body. Im hoping they refine the suspension and steering to be more of fun drivers car and lower the weight in the process as well.

Likewise.

AWD doesn't fit to the whole idea of a real sports car which the Z has always been and which this new model is slowly shaping up to be. ALL it needs to be is a purist Japanese FR sports car and everyone will love it.
