Hey @SDKtheway! It’s awesome to hear you’re loving your Z! Those first 6,500 miles must have felt amazing. Road Atlanta is a fantastic track—perfect for testing the limits of your car. Do you have any specific goals for your first track day?

 

Honestly the main goal for me is just getting the chance to drive out on a racetrack that I've spent hours driving in iracing or watching in Petit Le Mans! Secondary goals include not crashing, and getting a chance to feel the actual limits of the car under braking/cornering. If you have any advice, tips or tricks please feel free to share! It's through Chin Track Days, so I'm excited to get some coaching/driving feedback as well.

 

Hey I got a nismo Z as well in Metro Atlanta area. I've never even seen a z around here yet!

 

I have a 2024 Nismo Z and LOVE it. Came from a 2020 370z Sport.

 

I'm from Long Island, and had my Z Nismo for 6 months. In all that time, I only saw one other Z (not a Nismo). I've never seen another Nismo in the wild.

 

I just purchased a new Nismo Z...it is a beast compared to my Performance Model that was unfortunately totaled.. Atlanta GA area

 

Sorry to hear about your performance Z 😞, but congrats on the NISMO. The 5% extra HPalrs that much difference, or is the the whole package (engine, chassis, suspension, tires)?

I "feels" faster/firmer/rougher than my old performance model. The ride is almost TOO FIRM but I have not really played with the Suspension setting yet. Just got the car this week.

I don't think the rear has the shipping blocks.

Well, I just checked the Z for the "shipping blocks"....and YUP there are still in there #$%^&()&^%$&()&^%$^^&()&^%$^*()
So I will put it on jack stands tomorrow and see if I can pull them out... MANY THANKS Up4SPEED!!!

 

Nice! I'm glad they were in there because you will be happy with how much better it rides over bumps! Once you see the height difference after you remove them, you will also be able to see the difference in pictures, and hopefully help others as well.

 

By just turning the front wheels full-lock, I could see at least one block on each spring...maybe more that I just couldn't see. I will report back when I get them out and test drive it again.

 

If you jack it up, you will be able to see the spring all the way around to remove all of them (look carefully). You have to raise the wheel off of the ground so you can pull them out. They will pull out easily by hand, just tug on them. If you don't jack it up, they won't come out.

 

Haven't driven it yet...but I can NOT slide my fist between the tire and fender now. So that lowered it a bunch!
