I don't know if you guys have seen this, but the new Rogue interior was leaked, and it looks very impressive. The new Z interior will probably be more sporty -- wonder if the gauge pods will stay or be included as a mode in the screen -- but overall, it will probably have a lot in common with the interior below and look somewhat similar. I'd be happy with the Rogue interior below even! And if Nissan is offering quilted leather seats in a Rogue, chances are we will have some cool seat options to choose from in the 400Z.

This particular design seems to be starting to be common. Even with other manufactures. Looks so similar to my X5. The gauges and the infotainment system.That’s ok. I’ll still take it.

Me to. But if they incorporate the gauges like the GTR into the infotainment screen with customizable system. Then we talking.

I'm excited to see what they do for the interior. The 370s interior is pretty brutal. Compared to the competition and to the rest of Nissan's lineup. They are making some great interiors now.

I can't crap on the Z's interior too much though. If it was too nice, the car would be too expensive.

Fortunately, the new Z's exterior looks so good that regardless of how the rest of the car is styled , everyone will still love it. What we've seen so far is also a clear indication that Nissan understands what we want. Plus anything better than the 370Z is a win.

370Z instrument cluster looked more at home in a Murano, Xterra or Frontier.

If they can keep interior relatively simple, yet still offering quality and new technology, i think that would keep most people happy.
The triple gauges definitely need to stay, if they can somehow get a good design down pat working it out to flow nicely with a screen, that would be cool too.
Even if its similar to the IDx interior.
There was also talk of a digital dash... which im not super keen on. I'm weird and prefer traditional analogue gauges and the 370 dash looks very good.
A modernised version of that with some digital touches somewhere in the cluster would be dope

They did a good job of mixing classic design with modern.

What about a simpler cleaner design. I dont mind switches similar to the BRZ for AC unit. A longer screen for audio infotainment system. A slim line dashboard similar to the 240Z and circular vents

I'm with your @neeyee8, the simpler the better for the interior.

I agree too. I'm pleased to see that Nissan made a conscious decision to keep physical buttons on the new Juke and not to have everything operated by the touchscreen.

lool wish i had that gift, i tried to get an automotive artist to bring it to life for me in a quick sketch but they wanted to charge which is fair enough.

@paul Id like to see it one day for sure. If anyone can draw better it would be good to see some ideas. I wonder if the guy that rendered the 400z supra look alike would be interested ill ask him

It's better than anything I could come up with me. It would be an absolute mess for me. I like the idea of having Car info a the bottom of the infotainment screen.
