Dream Color: British Racing Green + Brown Leather Interior

The Performance trim hits every requirement I have for my next car and I am pretty sure I am going to get either a 2023 or 2024 model year. I could see myself owning any of the offered colors, but I am REALLY hoping for a nice dark green exterior, like a British Racing Green, with a tan/brown interior. This color combo is so classy and timeless and I think it would really suit the new Z well.

Something like this:

Welcome to the forum @Zwift

I totally agree, the new Z would look great in BRG with a tan interior, much like the first one.
What are you driving at the moment?

Thanks @zenki

Right now I am driving a 2016 GTI. It has been a fun car with high utility for the past 6 years. I am still trying to decide if I want to trade it in or keep it as a 2nd car. My wife loves the GTI so she will probably want to keep it.

Yeah I wanted this too, but doesn't appear we'll be getting it.
I'd like an updated BRG with some mica/metallic, I don't think a solid paint would suit the car. The green on the Hakone 86 would be perfect (as would the tan interior):

man, you and i are on the same page! i was realllllly hoping they'd have a green/tan version. hopefully they have some sort of tan interior option, and i can slap a paintjob on it, if it doesn't run too much.

I feel rather certain that we will get expanded options across the lineup as time goes on, both in terms of additional interior/exterior colors and trim packages/stand alone items.

Nissan already has a nice tan that they use in various other models so it'd be a shame for them not to port it over:

Ya I was thinking about doing that too. I'm toying with the idea of a wrap as well, but I've never wrapped a car before and I am concerned with whether or not it will make the car look cheap.

I spec'd out an Emira in verdant green with tan leather interior, such a sexy bitch.

I've thought about going with a wrap as well. If you get it done by the right people it won't look cheap at all. A good wrap will make it look like the british racing green look like it was always meant to be that color.

Welcome to the forum @glhfddka Is the green/tan a dealbreaker for you? Or are you still going to be getting a Z?
nah still getting it no matter what, unless dealers mark it up a lot, or if there's some major issue discovered w/ the 1st model year.
*or unless i have a really profitable year and can responsibly buy a gt4... then i'm going that direction instead.

my concern w/ wrapping it is, when the wrap begins to fail, the paint below will show, and unless i go black paint, any other color finish will really be noticeable contrasting against the green.

From my understanding wraps are really durable against rocks or other debris.

I like tan and brown, but Ferrari has something called Heritage Mahogany Leather. It looks incredible in the BRG 812… wish there was. Vintage or heritage edition of the Z that came with something like this.

That's a cool shade of brown for an interior. The way the leather looks kind of reminds me of a baseball glove haha.
Everyone has different tastes. I'm not a fan of that Ferrari interior pattern at all. But I'm not buying that Ferrari. Overall, I'm not much of a fan of tan interior. Gets dirty and tends to age worse than gray/black interiors. Although tan interiors do hide scratches better, whereas black interiors make scratches stand out.

British Racing Green, however, is an awesome color

I feel like that's more suitable on much older vehicles.

If we get an tan interior, it would probably be similar to what the GT-R can be optioned with.
