I'm starting to wonder what from the Z34 would be compatible here since they run the same platform and all. That could greatly help initially, especially for folks like myself looking for suspension mods.

I’ve been wondering the same thing. Suspension mods and exhaust are my initial mods. I’m hoping suspension is similar with minor tweaks so that existing mods should fit fine. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Hopefully the Z comes with the cooling mods the red sport has. Disappointing to know it has an open deck design, but I wonder if my gen 3 5.0 has one too?

If I got a new Z it would have a built block like this and a transmission to hold 600hp+.

I just want it to be reliable on track, no braking, overheating, limp mode issues. 400 hp is enough, but get that suspension dynamics correct to start with. I will cornerweight it to balance it more. Hoping no aftermarket coilovers are needed initially, cost effective. Any engine mods later as future mods after the chassis is sorted out first.
