On top of that if Nissan did decide to develop a brand new platform for the Z the starting price would be no where close to the $40,000 it's going to be.I don't get why people are down on Nissan about the chassis. If it worked, why start from scratch? It sounds like it's only been further improved, and all the major changes took place where it counts: it looks and is powered completely differently than the previous Z.
