Holy shit, this is awesome. The BOSE sub in the fake spare tile well is ... well.. I mean that's the smallest lil sub I've seen like these. Your setup is a good idea - bit of carpeting to blend it in and clean sub bar, and I bet it sounds way better. How much did it run you, if you don't mind me asking? And what did you use to build the housing? The BOSE sub that comes with the Performance trim is awful. In my 2016 Nismo Tech the sub was at least listenable. I built a small sub the fits snugly into the cargo space as pictured. I still need to add the black cabinet carpeting. This sounds much better. The bass is much tighter without the awful ringing from the BOSE sub. There are two woofers at 2 ohms each that connect to the BOSE sub connector. There are four passive radiators to keep size small. Internally there are two isolated cabinets. No mods to the system just disconnected the BOSE and connected my custom sub. It was worth the cost.

I added the carpeting. I will actually provide a materials list for the sub. It cost me quite a bit But I had to make it work well with the acoustic environment of the car. A lot of trail and error. Some time to morris I’ll post all the details. It sounds much better but overall still disappointed with the overall sound.Holy shit, this is awesome.
