Great to find this place, and I'm looking forward to absorbing everything about the new car. It's my next purchase.

I've owned an '87 (white with red leather), and I currently own a '95 N/A. I'm the second owner on the '95 and it boasts original paint and interior. I added an aftermarket clone rear spoiler and a Stillen front spoiler, and replaced the Bose system with new speakers and touch screen receiver.

I was a Nissan salesman when the 300ZX came out and I knew everything about the car and it's main competitors. Back in that day, Nissan ruled the track and I got to go to Sebring to see Geoff Brabham and company race the ZX.

In the past, I drove a Toyota MR2 Spyder (3 over 14 years) and I fully restored a 1970 MGB. I autocrossed the Spyder and won the Florida State SCCA Championship in the CSP class in 2004.

I've had it for about 2.5 years. The previous owner was older and it was garaged. The first two years the car spent was as a Nissan factory rep vehicle.

I did a complete mechanical restoration on it with seals, bushings, brakes, bearings, struts, injectors, EGR bypass, and filters. The tranny had the common 2nd and 3rd soft synchros so I replaced it with a 96+ JDM unit from Z1.

The new Z is growing on me. I'm not excited about the 370 interior, especially the infotainment screen. I like my simple and efficient cockpit. I hope the whale's mouth in the front becomes less of a black blob, but that seems to be the style today.

I'm sorta leaning to buying the new car. My '95 looks and drives as new, but I would like more power. I've added K&N filters and full synthetic oil over the past few months and next week a Billy Boat exhaust. That's as far as I want to go.

If you end up getting the new car I imagine you'll keep the ZX as well?
