Hi everyone,
I'm from Australia and I've been living in Melbourne for 21 years. Hopefully I am going to be a proud owner of the new Z. Never owned a jdm sports car before and I'm really looking forward to have one. I've already put a deposit on a blue manual one. I know there is a debate whether we can pre order one or not but i just did. Previously i owned a limited run Hsv astra VXR, front wheel drive hot hatch and since i sold it i couldn't find replacement until i saw the new z. I also ride a 2016 Triumph thruxton 1200.
I'm really looking forward to meet future Australian z owners when we get our babies.

Hey @SubZero welcome to the forum! We have a few Australian members on here so you should be in good company. What got you most interested in the Z for it to be your first JDM car?

What is the Z scene like in Australia? Do you see enough older generations around?

Hi Rusty, thanks for the warm welcome, the new Z will be my first jdm car but we always had a jdm car in our family, my dad used to have a Datsun b210 Orange one back in the days. With the new Z I really like the design, timeless design, I reckon it'll still look as good 10 or 20 years later, i like the simple design, and dont forget the heritage. I always like small, compact and powerful cars.

he is doing it for himself for his enjoyment. We were discussing which motor to use and decided to get a Ford falcon xr6 turbo engine and he is collecting some parts and body kit for it. It is going to be a wild beast!
