We all out here still waiting...my dealer has double promised me the Jan 2022 Canadian pre orders will be filled no matter what (Nissan told them this).

I'm still waiting for it. Here in Quebec, Canada I have found that every dealer has received a Z which is not part of the first orders.

congratulations to you. and as you found it with the same equipment that you had pre-ordered.I got onenot the pre ordered one I did in 2021. Cancelled that after finding another dealer that had one

I rmb this guy kept insisting he be getting his little unicorn 400z last spring then summer then winter and whoopie wow its spring of 2023 and nothing yet. Still a believer of what nissan is telling you?

for Canada Nissan had informed us that each dealer would receive one model each before we received the one ordered. The next Z to be delivered are the models ordered.
The north pole informed me that Santa is bringing them. Towed by his sleigh. I guess it is more hopeful for you being closer to his workshop.

They didnt inform shit 😂 dealers in canada got contacted the day of to pick up the 1 unit. The 1 unit information was in the usa market
Agree with the above. My dealership had no idea their allocated demonstration model was coming. It just happens to randomly show up Christmas Eve day. They were all shocked and somewhat excited. They did not order the car. The last I heard was the pre orders/orders in January "shouldn't be too far behind" ... In December. Lol still silence to this day.
I have my hopes we will hear something in the next month or so, but I'm not holding my breath. It'd be exciting to get the news.. something.. maybe a scheduled build day, a VIN number, an expected delivery.. anything. But, I'm having a funny feeling, until we hear from the folks who booked the online reservation system that finally start getting emails on when to expect their cars from Nissan Canada, no one is going to have any clue.
They are still adamant that they will contact you about your reservation.
Until then.. you can't believe a word any dealership tells you right now. Unless they have a VIN and a scheduled delivery date.

At this point nothing may ever arrive. It could end up being the greatest car that ever wasn't. Personally I refuse to support a business that is run so poorly...and reward them for gross incompetence with my hard earned money. Plenty of other nice cars out there. Ever heard the notion of avoiding FIRST year of a new design? How much more red flags does one need. Already had tranny issues and it ain't even out yet. To each their own..just don't come back crying on here!

Ummm...no I won't. Not ordering a car I will never get...not for me. Don't care. Nissan lost me months ago on this one. Maybe if they turn things around which will take about 5 years I will revisit. Meanwhile will keep enjoying my 87 ZX Turbo. Until then...rock on...who was it? Journey? Don't stop...believing....PT Barnum nailed it!! Bon chance! How is Bonhomme hiver these days? I miss Winter Carnival!! Have a Caribou shot!
