That's a great universal 'safe' choice for most people, makes the Z a bunch more aggressive looking than that yellow Proto. Brings out the body lines, creases and features more. I do hope Daytona Blue will be a color choice with anthracite or gun metal wheels!

Doesn't the VR30DDTT use twin water-to-air intercoolers mounted near the throttle bodies (top-mounted)?
A lot of the mechanicals are still guesswork at this time. I just hope Nissan addresses many cooling issues from the past (brakes, transmission, etc.)

Here's a color I could also live with on the new Z - Root beer gorgeous!

The grill is exactly the same. It looks more pronounced because it seems the color there is more of a grayish.

Unlike most, I don't mind the size or shape of the grill opening. I don't however like the innards of it. Too much going on.

That particular motor does. But has a undersized heat exchanger for the intercoolers. Even if they improve on this it usually isn’t big enough or efficient for extra spirited driving.
Right, I was just operating with the prevailing assumption that this is the engine most likely to be employed in the Z. Have there been widespread reports of overheating with the 400hp tune? I'd read that the cooling systems had been purposefully upgraded in the Red Sport applications to specifically counter that scenario.

Let's hope all potential cooling issues have been addressed. Last thing we need is a new Z that goes to limp mode too soo on track, like some BMWs do.
