Remember The Infiniti Q60 Project Black S With F1 Tech? It's Dead Now

The Infiniti Q60 Project Black S was supposed to use a twin-turbo V6 with three F1-derived motor-generator units.

Project has been cancelled. Whats interesting is this car had the VR30 the new Z will have but 3 electric motors generating 560hp. Maybe this tech could one day be used in a special NISMO RS Z?

I hope we get some special Z's, even if they are limited run versions.

The Z and G or Q coupes have absolutely nowhere for electrification gear to be mounted.
I thought this exercise was odd when introduced. Anyone who's knows these cars (I own a Q60) knows that there's no room anywhere in the vehicle structure for batteries, controllers, motors, etc. The Z34 and CV36 platforms were never designed with electrification in mind.
This was a dead-end promise from day 1.
And who cares anyway?!? We are getting the VR30 with a 6MT soon! Eff the electrified cars!
