There's no additional dealer markup here in Australia, you'll pay MSRP plus on-road costs. At worst they'll try to upsell you roof racks or insurance.

Here in Utah I've seen very little added costs to any vehicles on lots. My mom just got a 2022 Santa Cruz for basically MSRP. One YouTuber even got his 2021 Supra for under msrp here in Utah. Sportscars are slow movers in here. SUVs are where the money is at for dealers. The dealer I am working with sold about 1 370z a month. And over the last month since its announcement I am the only person to not only be put on the buyers list but the only one that has even inquired. And as icing on the cake the Ford Ken Garff (I am going through one of their nissan dealerships.) has been selling Broncos for A bit over MSRP. It seems most of the crazy ADMs are basically happening in West Coast and East Coast.

It also helps that I'm in NO rush to get the Z. Patience will be my best friend.

I just got in touch with the sales manager at my dealer. Other than the Z popping up in their database, there’s no new info.

Based on previous Nissan releases, he cautioned that the car could very easily be released in the summer or even later due to chip shortages, etc.,.

I’m not a patient man in general, but when it comes to this car, I have all the patience in the world. This is 100% the car for me.

I guess in that case it should at least be 10's of them.
Did they say where in line your at among the reservations at that dealer?

Is your local Nissan dealership going to be charging an additional markup over MSRP for the new Z? I believe many will price these new sports car thousands more especially with initial allocations.

Those lucky enough might be able to get some dealers to commit to MSRP. If that's you, share whatever details you can. If not, still include how much more they are charging.

Here in Raleigh NC, I called today and a dealer said they were taking 1k deposits, and that they were marking them up 10k, I called another local dealer and he said he dosent know how or why they would be doing this or know enough to do this basically calling bs on them, not sure what to make of it 1/26/2022
