Thanks for posting this, cool to see. I had not seen these images before.
It's also about time that Nissan gives us a new 400Z teaser please

Yeah that can't be conservative or be lazy with the design and power, otherwise there's not point in bringing it back.Yeah, so much passion those designers had huh?! I sure hope the 400Z won't be some 'global' derivative (mishmash) of styling and power units, rather staying true to family heritage. Nissan, give us more....
Guess it goes with all the other garbage.Media is full of fake reporting just to get clicks, like about anything else out there. I'm still hoping, since Nissan did send out the teaser, that it should be close, otherwise not making sense to have nothing until 2023. I would think, hoping, the insider source by @280driver is reliable, i.e. Nissan nearing production.
I've seen quite a few in my area, about 5 on streets and 5 on my last track day. They look small yet have serious stance, I like it. As you can see, they pull hard at about 6:55 in the video. We pre-gridded based on prior session. Now, this is comparing to my stock Mazdaspeed Miata with exhaust running amongst Spec Miatas, and I believe that's a 2020 GR model, not 2021. The MSM is the slowest car I've driven there LOL, previously on a modded E46 M3, much faster. Auto Club Speedway is a power track. As much as I keep up with cars oddly enough I’ve never seen the Supra in person until tonight at dinner. I never liked one picture of it at any angle. I always had the FT1 burnt into my head hoping that was what Toyota/ BMW was going to release. It was a disappointment. But after tonight I have to say it looks a lot better in person. And in my color, black. It is a small car for sure. Shocked by that. Pics made it look longer.
Then knowing they have made and fixed a lot of issues for 2021 claiming each year will get better along with a manual to come, maybe 2023 is the speculation. Maybe my dying need to have another sports car and Nissan taking longer than ever ( feel like they’ll bring dinosaurs back first) got in the way of my judgement made me excited. But I like it. Might need to test drive just to see. I’m already biased being my X5 has the same motor while the Supra is a little more performance oriented. Tired of waiting. Damn Nissan, show me a pic of a valve stem at least. Lol.
