For the first time Nissan has shared what the 2022+ Z sports car sounds like in this teaser posted to Instagram ahead of tomorrows reveal. A version of it was also posted to Twitter and also shows some the interior.
Yeah, it does sound very much like a smoothed out VQ, that's spot on. I kind of expected something more aggressive/rambunctious-sounding but this isn't a bad starting point.Sounds better than I thought! Very modern Nissan. Almost VQ like but softer and with turbo noise.
I'm sure they'll be a lot of aftermarket support available almost immediately lol.Yeah, it does sound very much like a smoothed out VQ, that's spot on. I kind of expected something more aggressive/rambunctious-sounding but this isn't a bad starting point.
Very true. There's always hope for the NISMO version.i think the toyota supra had more aggressive sound and i like the farts coming back in the end lol
To compare, this when we first learned what the new Supra sounds like.If i want to buy aftermarket exhaust it will be extra money from my pocket. All that waiting for the new z and you force the owners to buy aftermarket exhaust .Nissan didn’t learn from mistakes in the past
what awesome sound have the supraTo compare, this when we first learned what the new Supra sounds like.
I have to think if the new Z had anything more to it, they would've displayed it in todays teaser.
That sounds really good. The only thing is I don't want that drone want that perfect combo of nice accentuated sound but not extreme and if I'm in the highway quiet down until I'm on it. Not sure how this is under load or continuous 60-80mph pace.Very true. There's always hope for the NISMO version.
Plus for the regular Z models there's always aftermarket options.
I love how this Q60 sounds.
I hope it sounds a bit more sporty since the Q60 is a premium sports coupe and Infiniti would likely not want it as racy. But judging from these videos that might be hard to tell without a side by side comparison. That sounds really good.
