I'm a long-time (closet) Z fan. I've always had admiration for them. I was mad when they featured the Supra in the first Fast and the Furious move instead of the 300ZX.

I came really close to buying a 350Z and two different 370Z's.

I think this is the generation that might finally push me over the edge and make a fantasy come true. I can't wait to find out in a few days. I've been lurking for a while watching the slow leak of random information, teasers, and renders.

Awesome, welcome! We're in the same boat, I believe this next gen will give us a lighter version retaining the 6-speed AND plenty of horsepower!! Can't wait to prep it for tracking and street enjoyment.

It was a combination of things. A lot of debate about my/our needs and budget at the time. Honestly, I think a large part of not being able to push myself over the edge into a purchase was the power output in stock form. It wasn't enough to be truly sporty, to me, and add that needed value for its purpose.

Otherwise, they are beautiful cars, outside and in. They fit me very well, ergonomically. The handling is great. I liked the manual transmissions.
