Greetings all!

Way too excited on this new step in the 'life' of the Z! Owned five 240Zs in my lifetime and avid track driver. Extended family is my 2nd Gen Xterra Off Road, capably modified for crawling and overlanding.

Thanks for the add, awaiting more good news (hoping......)

Well, here's quick set of what I had, upper left was college first Z, a '72, back in the 80s. Upper right was a '71 totally stock mildly restored (should have kept nowadays). Bottom left was short ownership, lots of work needed. Bottom right is current RB powered. Could not find pics of the short-lived fifth.

Hello from a fellow S30 owner! I've only had mine 3 years so I'm still a newbie!

It's the 350Z Daytona Blue. I wanted the mods to be in the family, R32 RB26DETT with mild tuning for now, full 3" exhaust, Z32 5 spd, 280ZX-Turbo R200, Quaife LSD, soon to be replaced Ground Control coilovers, ATL cell, etc. Wanted to make sure safety is priority for occasional track and shows.

Wow! @S30R32 that is stunning!
Gotta love the RB26DETT! How much power is it making?

And is the Z32 5-spd any good?
Still doing baseline runs and tracking with minor tune, stock Garrett T-25s, at about 270whp. Next steps will be full EM and yank the ecu altogether.

Short shift kit on that 5-spd works great, direct, snickety shifts.

Nice. I know nothing about the Z32 shifter. Never driven a 300ZX. For some reason I just thought it was kind of a lazy shift. Short shifters change everything too!

If I've learned one lesson though, don't buy a cheap short shifter. The "expensive" ones are already pretty damn inexpensive. I bought an off-brand one once and it was not great.
