I've been talking about this with some friends of mine about what we think the 400Z's 0-60 time will be and I'm curious to hear what everyone thinks. My hope is that it will beat the Supra's 0-60 time of 3.8 seconds. So for me at least 3.7 seconds or quicker would be ideal.

At the very least it needs to be faster than the Infiniti Q60 Red Sport 400 which goes from 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. If it's not then the 400Z is going to be a big disappointment in my opinion.

Q60 is just a big pig. It’s funny you bring this up. Just the other day I saw a review on the new Corvette and he stated that manufactures are so obsessed with 0-60 times. It really doesn’t mean much if you think about it. It has nothing to do with the overall performance of what the car can do and the ability to just drive or push it hard and enjoy it. Either pleasure, drag, or best of all road course.

A lower power output base 400Z with a 0-60 within the low 4-second range is reasonable to me.
