A source familiar with the project confirmed that NISMO parts is not a replacement for a proper NISMO model, strongly hinting that the NISMO Z is coming.

This news comes just a few months after photos went around of a Z prototype with NISMO Recaro seats and a version of the front bumper from the Z Customized Proto.

The upper beak and diffuser looks like an evolution of the NISMO 370z and the overall bumper seems designed to allow for more cooling to the engine, something necessary in a hot version of the Z

Those photos and a similar prototype seen before in Arizona were all we had to go on. but now with the NISMO model strongly hinted to arrive by a source in on the project, it shouldn't be much longer till we see it in full.

So when will it arrive? Summer 2023 as a 2024 model year vehicle, exactly one year after the Z officially went on sale is likely and aligns with what Nissan's launch timelines are often like.

Pricing of the NISMO model should start from the $55,000-$60,000 range, about what the Supra 3.0 Premium currently retails for. With options we could be looking at another $5,000-$10,000 before taxes, fees, etc.
