Which looks better? The Z with the 240Z front end or the 240Z with the Z's front?
I'd have to go with the Z that has the 240Z front end.

Considering those limitations I think they did an incredible job. The new Z is easily one of the best looking cars from a Japanese automaker and best of all it will be priced within reach of the average person. The round headlights don't work with the new proto design. That's why the designers went a different way. They had the limitations of using the 370 proportions and shapes and not being able to veer too far from that.
I completely agree. A lot of people get frustrated by simplicity but that's what creates timeless design. No crazy lines crashing into each other or going no where. No over-styled angles and graphics. No unnecessary grills and non-functional pieces. Nissan really nailed the shape and kept this thing very clean. To think they pulled this off with a full on platform limitation and engineering limitations at a budget price point is really an achievement.Considering those limitations I think they did an incredible job. Even the interior is timeless but over the years the digital displays might age faster than the rest of the cabin.I completely agree. It’s a no-brainer. As I’ve said all along, the Z’s headlights are the worst individual design on the car, not looking at all like a 240Z OR the 300ZX, so when I saw the 240 front end on the Z, BINGO! That’s the ticket! Of course for aerodynamic efficiency I’d want the clear covers on them that were bought by many for the 240Z through the 280ZX.Which looks better? I'd like to see how Italdesign can improve it. The GTR-50 looks incredible. It’s a no-brainer. First thought I had too. If there's one thing I would change it would be all analog instruments.Even the interior is timeless but over the years the digital displays might age faster than the rest of the cabin.
Unfortunately this ship has sailed. New modern cars are all going digital instrumentation now. There are a lot more info that can be had from digital. Also, Nissan did a pretty darn good job with their Z digital instrumentation. Simple yet effective and attractive.First thought I had too. If there's one thing I would change it would be all analog instruments.
A possibility could be aftermarket software updates but that's a long shot.First thought I had too. If there's one thing I would change it would be all analog instruments.
Are you 15-18 years old you FR you think the new one looks better or is it sarcasm hard for me tell sometime reading thingsThanks, I hate it.
I guess the 240z with the new front end looks better to me
I hope there's a kit like thisHere's a better rendering of the 240Z's face on the Z's body.
