That's what I was thinking as well. If so, wouldn't including the max weight be better?

According to Gran Turismo the American spec Z Performance weighs 1543kg (3401.7 pounds).

This is interesting because the Canadian spec Z Performance models are supposed to weigh 1604kg (3536.2 pounds), with the automatic weighing 1634kg (3602.3 pounds).

I know Gran Turismo is meticulous for details like this but is this weight number accurate?

Those weights are for the Cdn spec sport models, not the Performance (nothing released on that yet?) Also the weights you wrote don't even match the ones we had in our Z order guide, so not exactly sure where you found those numbers?

It can and slightly. Not anything that would change your driving experience. But noticeable changes are to be expected in yearly updates when they happen.

As an avid Gran Turismo nerd (I have the logo tattooed on my accelerator foot), I can confirm that GT often uses dry curb weights, and may not always perfectly match weight to specific trims. For example, they may be using the weight of a manual sport trim Z with no fluids or driver, even if the car shown in-game is in fact an automatic performance trim. The difference is never enough to be felt by driving, but May account for some slight inaccuracies at a level imperceptible by us mere humans. That being said, GT has a terrific record, especially in the modern era, of being remarkably close to real world performance. There’s a terrific video of someone driving a BRZ/FR-S race car both in GT and in real life. They’re superimposed to play side by side in real time, and the similarities are stunning. It speaks for itself.
