A friend found out it was only 9-noon at Downey, he just missed out. Since it's a long weekend, my guess is it will make another appearance at another dealership, called a few around me, most have no clue LOL

I liked the proto pics, but the production snaps are making me like it more and more.

Thankfully, they highlighted the grill. And with the pics out "in the wild" the katana design feature appears more like an accent, as it should be - vice a "streak of lighting" that it looked to be on the proto. So happy Nissan moved forward with this. (y)

Noticed this on Facebook today at that dealership. Looks like a camera? Sensor? To me that doesn't look finished. I wonder if there is a way to clean that up a little before production?

A sensor. Very cleverly hid in the grille design.. what looks unfinished about it??

That's probably for the safety stuff - lane departure, adaptive cruise - nicely integrated I think.

Was thinking it needs to be down in the area that's black plastic instead of the brushed chrome or whatever that accent color is. it would be way more hidden there or against something black. I think because the solid area where the sensor is affixed to isn't black it catches the eye. It's weird because I've looked at every pic of the Z since the reveal all day and never noticed it until this pic. Now I really see it

And they had to reveal that awesome Seiran blue, one of the best colors for this Z, but now everyone wants this color LOL. I might go another route ;) Already have a Daytona Blue 240Z.

I wonder if they'll offer Boulder Gray on the new Zs. I saw it on a new Rogue in the dealer lot a few months back. Problem is - I now see that type of gray (semi-matte) all over the place now, haha.

Yes it's confirmed and it's one of the two tone colors with a black roof

Did anyone ever confirm if the black box in the lower grill is for adaptive cruise or some type of crash avoidance? or is there a tow hook screw in hole behind it or something?

Still not sure where a front plate would mount unless Nissan made a nifty bracket that clips to the grill somehow without drilling

Thanks - I just searched and found the thread on the colors (derp). I appreciate you providing the info instead of "LMGTFY". (y)

Tow hook hole is on the passenger side between the 2nd and 3rd column of the grille. Same spot as 370z.

My guess is that it's either for the cruise control or a parking sensor. Good catch I've never noticed that before.
