Raiti's Rides shared two videos on Instagram of the Z revving up its engine and what a fantastic noise it makes! It looks like the two cars Nissan used at the debut in New York.
The potential is definitely there, seems like it can be both a gentleman cruiser and a loud monster. I'm curious how high they got when they revved both cars up in the video. It has potential. Going to sound really good with a turbo-back exhaust.
Yeah this is the dual exhaust with Performance grade muffler that's on the higher trim. I wonder if it's just the sound quality of the first videos becase in this one from Motor1 it sounds much better.Isn't this the "performance exhaust" of the pricier trim? If so, massive disappointment. Yes, aftermarket will easily address this, which I would use as always, but let's be honest. This is a "feature" of the performance trim, to add value to it no? But it's underwhelming to me at least.
Have you start looking at what companies/parts you'd want to use for your Z?I'll be swapping intakes on my Z to get a bit more induction noise and hopefully open up the exhaust a bit. I'm hoping that's all I'll have to do, but this makes me think I'll likely need an aftermarket exhaust too.
No not yet. I'm coming from the VW/Audi scene so I'm not sure what companies offer parts for Z/Infiniti.Have you start looking at what companies/parts you'd want to use for your Z?
Same here. I've been digging around on the Q forums to get up to speed. I expect there will be a lot more options coming for this engine now that it's in a Z.No not yet. I'm coming from the VW/Audi scene so I'm not sure what companies offer parts for Z/Infiniti.
I'd be thrilled if the production car sounds that good IRL but the cynic in me suspects the audio here has been "augmented" by the marketing dept. Hope I'm wrong.I shared some examples here and my favorite has to be this one.
It makes me wonder how much the driving modes in the car will affect how it sounds and performs.yeah seems way to quite from factory i test drove a q60 red sport just to get a feel for what the vr30tt could sound like in the new z but odly enough the q60 seems way louder and more agressive from factory i hope its just the video thats making it seem weak
