It looks like Nissan revised the grille design a bit by adding a bar to the upper part.

Sort of like what this rendering shows, just not on the outer part of the bumper.

I kind of doubt it, given the pre-production models we've already seen that do not have that feature. I would bet that this is simply a limp-wristed attempt to disguise the grille design, even if only slightly.

Believe it or not I think I actually like the big rectangle cut out more than if they just barred across it, I think it makes the car look too "normal" with the bar

Totally agreed! Different is always good. It might take people getting used to it, but that's better than boring.

I mean if you're working for Nissan doing this you might as well have some fun right? lol Porsche seems to really love messing with people by making their camos as ugly as possible for spy photographers.

Every car on the road has a reinforcement bar right in that area no matter how big or small the grille opening. So when manufacturers say they made the grille bigger for better cooling/air flow, it's b.s.

I like a bar aesthetically to break up the expanse, unlike the gaping maw grilles of Lexis and some Audis. But I like it without the bar, too. And the shape is great, even underneath the camo tape. After all, you could cover J-Lo or Salma Hayek with camo, and the beauty would still shine through.

Welcome to the forum @Miguelius. You're right I think the Z's front looks good with out without the bar. Maybe someone will make an aftermarket piece that can go across the grille. Are you a current/former Z owner?

Well, it seems pretty likely that these are going to look like the Silver and Grey vehicles that we've already seen (they may even be those cars) so any "changes" would already have been identified a few months ago. The silver upper environment of the grille opening is something we saw in the warehouse videos.

Yeah they arnt hiding much mainly because this seems to actually be one of the leaked cars we already saw. the license plates match

not to mention it appears the silver car leaked pic was as it was about be camo wrapped. youve got the wrapped ( pathfinder?) beside it with adhesive backing paper on the floor and maybe two rolls of it on the wall? seems the leaker may have been involved with wrapping it?
