Wait. I own a 2005 350 Anniversary Edition in superb condition with original parts and with only 60,000 miles. Struggled in deciding to part with it. Will now keep it.Because of the wait or something else about it? No fun cars are available in my part of the world. Gr86 isn't available yet, supra is out for at least all of 2023, Z.... And even the mx5 cannot be ordered as an RF with all the goodies because of shortages, only soft top or a base RF. Nissan isn't unique in this.

Where is the video? Or, how can I get it?Hagerty released a video saying the 350 is a great car to keep in terms of holding value / investment
Tat's funny, because I feel like they all depreciated rather quickly right away. I mean... great car... but that's one of the things that makes it great... not overpriced!Hagerty released a video saying the 350 is a great car to keep in terms of holding value / investment
As a fellow low-milage G37S owner, I hear you. The G37S has been such a great car. In fact it's one of the things that steered me towards the Z. I'm hoping Nissan can repeat the great experience I have with the G.I’m in Ozziz’s camp. After Nissan’s gross mistakes (no Michelins, no mid-tier offering) I decided keep my G37S Coupe 6MT (now 49K miles) indefinitely. That could change if Nissan rectifies both of the above - or at least just the mid-tier option. The split grille Japan appears to be getting would just be icing on the cake. At this point I’m no longer considering a $60K-$65K Nismo as looming retirement no longer includes spending such a big sum on a fun car when I already have one I love driving.
I expect the Zs will depreciate quickly as well, but I often find a car is worth more to me than I could get selling it. My G37S is in great shape and a hoot to drive, but its probably only worth $10k. It's worth more to me than that, so I keep it, and I'll keep enjoying it rather than buying a car I don't really want. Hopefully Nissan will climb out of the hole they're in and we'll all enjoy our depreciated new Zs for years to come.Tat's funny, because I feel like they all depreciated rather quickly right away. Only $10K?!? If yours is lower miles and is in great shape as you’ve said, you’re underestimating your car’s street value. Mine is a 2008 (built in 12/2007) with 49K miles and I turned down an unsolicited offer of $20K in a supermarket parking lot not long ago. I know the car is worth less than that on paper but it’s in near mint condition (looks two years old) has Eibach front & rear sways plus an HKS Hi-Power catback exhaust as the only deviations from stock (and AFe dry air filters). I often wonder how much it would take to pry it from my hands. $25K? $30K? Maybe, but what would I get to replace it with that money? It’s been crazy reliable, never driven in salt, snow or rain, sounds insane and handles amazingly well. I think that as our cars age, the lower mileage ones, particularly the relatively rare S 6MT cars, will slowly appreciate in value as the enthusiast public increasingly values higher power NA engines while new enthusiast offerings continue to wane during the EVpocalypse. Mustangs and Camaros, et al should benefit as well. That just my opinion though.I expect the Zs will depreciate quickly as well, but I often find a car is worth more to me than I could get selling it. Yeah, I was just going by the "on paper" value. I might be able to get more on the open market. Maybe I should add an "market adjustment" to my G. 😜Only $10K?!? If yours is lower miles and is in great shape as you’ve said, you’re underestimating your car’s street value.
