The LA Auto Show is in November and should be when we can finally sit in the new Z. After the NY reveal Nissan should start letting members of the media explore more of it (first look reviews, etc.).

I will concede that this is disappointing - not that we can't sit in it, but that it will be on stage. I don't think there's a need for all that. Plenty of other higher dollar cars sitting on the show floor.

This is not guaranteed. Even though revealed at NY, disappointingly, until Nissan officially opens the order books, we won’t have access to sit in or be that close to the car.

I’m not happy about having to go into the city in the first place , but I’ll still go. I have to see this Z in person.

This reinforces my idea to bring back an updated version of the "Follow the Z" Tour. Let the Z make it's auto show rounds then as we get closer to launch take a couple media cars and have grassroots z clubs take them to different locations throughout country making stops at dealers tuner shops and other locations. The way it was done with the 370 wasn't perfect but the idea itself was pretty novel and would be a cool way to let people get up close and personal with the car in more enthusiast friendly environment than an auto show.

What do you think @DAN_PASSE I could definitely work out the east coast leg of the tour. Maybe pick up In Nashville with a car heading up the east coast and another south?

This would be a great idea for Nissan to get behind for the Z. If this is the last true gas-powered Z then it needs to be celebrated by as many people as possible.
