I like in this commercial and the one with Brie Larson that they show the driver shifting gears at least once.

Thanks, I had not seen that. Hoping they didn’t artificially pump up the engine noise....I have heard that before can’t remember where though...

The Supra has artificial noises that can tuned out (I'm sure several other cars have this as well), but I really hope Nissan doesn't go this route with the Z.

Nissan added the piped in sound enhancements for the 2017+ GTRs. its not a bad sound its just strange to hear it in the cabin after knowing what the raw engine sounds like by itself. I could see this for the Z its more like a filler tone added in. I cant really describe it other than its like a soft roar that sounds like a hum. so the engine note sounds fuller if that makes sense

With how interiors are these days compared to the 90's I think it was the right move.
Cars from that time feel like go-carts compared to what's on sale today.

I'm going to throw in an Akrapovic soon enough, they sound great!! As long as it doesn't scavenge any horsepower from stock.

Planning to also get an ECU tune and other air/fuel related mods? It would go good with that exhaust.

I've always felt a way about pumped in noise but when you put it like that it makes a lot of sense 💡
