Piech GT Shows What's Possible

The upcoming Piech GT electric sports car gives me hope that, one day, maybe we'll see this kind of idea trickle down into the more mainstream, affordable range. I realize it isn't an industry priority, but I think it may eventually happen. An electric Z could follow this sort of example, in concept. The underlying platform and packaging certainly aren't at odds with creating a truly lovely design.

Front and Side profile is awesome. Not a fan of the rear c-shaped lights, but I love the shape of the rear. Is there a price attached to this? Is this another 100K plus car or is this closer to 60k?

Oh I agree, the rear lighting aside, I love this thing. Less "futuristic" and more "timeless" in design. I would guess that this is going to be at least upper-end 911 money since that seems to be more or less what it's positioning itself against. Shame, if this were available for C8 money, they could never meet demand for it.

I think what we'll see first is Nissan introduce a mild-hybrid version of this new Z.
Possibly with hybrid tech from the R36 GT-R.
