Yea I saw that a while back. I believe a lot of guys said they made it right. Pully was just out of alignment or adjusted wrong from manufacturing process. Nissan has definitely had plenty of time to make this motor right.

3 words or letters that has worried z33 and z34 owners over the years.
Concentric slave cylinder/CSC.
If Nissan uses that setup again, hopefully they source a better one or replace it with an external clutch slave cylinder with fork setup.

Not a problem per se, but when I owned my 08 G35S the clutch take up was high even after I adjusted the pedal stop. That car was always annoying on 1st gear take offs, hard to find a smooth launch. Wonder if this ends up on the Z.

The problem is with the CSC itself. It developes fractures, leaks and the clutch drops to the floor. The transmission would need to be dropped to change if it fails.

Not sure if this video's been posted elsewhere here but has good details on equipment and justification for at least the 400hp VR30DDTT, plus he did explain the CSC issue, which hope Nissan addressed. The center gauge is the turbo speed, but why? I'd rather have turbo temp or some other temp gauge. Oil pressure should also be somewhere on main dash or here.

That's the only component not shared. If it's the VR30DDTT why not show it, or is it just marketing hype to keep us excited and tuners at bay for now? Could be an interesting variation/tune but from the sounds of it nothing special so far.
