That could be the case. I doubt Nissan gave them any special treatment.

The whole MT issue goes back some time, enough that it is either resolved now or will very soon.

I've always been a fan of symmetrical exhaust setups on cars like this. Single is more acceptable on FWD 4cyl Hondas and the like.
