I just found this video and have probably watched it a dozen times already (it helps that it's only 30 seconds long) 😆

I haven't been super excited by the sound of the Z so far, and I don't think this video turns that opinion around, but it's better than I was expecting.

The new turbo definitely brings a different sound to the Z. Not a big shock to find that it's more muted than before -- and obviously we'll soon have options to fix that!

I'm assuming the drip you see at the beginning is from condensation or the air-conditioning 🤞

yeah this car is extremely quite. At least on my Q60. It had 4 cats. And is so quite. It hurt my feelings lol. My 15 q50 sounds like an F1 car with just an axel back. In comparison to my q60 with just an axel back. Then again. The 3.7 is a sexy sounding V6

So true. First thing I did on the Q60RS was order LDP and a full exhaust. It was way too quiet stock.

Your comment about the sexy sounding 3.7 V6 is what is giving me pause about buying a new Z. I consider my 2008 G37S Coupe 6MT just about perfect (for me) as I’ve got it set up (HKS cat back, Eibach sways AFE dry drop in air filters) and it’s hot only 46,000 miles too so it has a ton of life left in it and is covered for two or three more years by a Carmax warranty. Stock, a G37/370Z sounds better than the Z and with my HKS it sounds even better. I suppose it’s not a bad problem to have. Will eventually see if a test drive will move the needle one way or the other. Surprising that just six months ago I was about 95% sure I was going to trade/sell mine and get the Z. I’m about 50-50 now.
