Where did you get those figures from? A turbo replacement your looking at north of 10K. And an engine is north of 20k. Infiniti loves to rake you over the coals when it comes to these motors. Now these are warranty claims. So they could be inflating these prices. Idk what out the door pricing is. But these puppies arnt cheap

Got it from repair pal but I won't be surprised if your figures are far more realistic.
I guess the only cheaper way is get as many parts you can used but in good condition and become good friends with a mechanic

$10k for a turbo replacement!?!? Oof. Talk about mechanically totaled should that repair come down the line. Curious on the book time for that job. I'm guessing the subframe should be dropped to complete the job.

motor definitely gets yanked outta the car to replace the turbos. It’s a nightmare These motors are more of a PITA than my Z32 TT. And I despised working on that car lol.

19' Q60
Engine warrantied at 50k miles.
FBO, tuned, E30, full downpipes, full exhaust, WMI.

They said I had a porous block, I brought my car in stock, flashed back to stock tune, and took everything off.
Coolant found in engine block.

$22k with labor and parts, all warranty.
Honestly, I think they warrantied it because I kept complaining.
Also I was running a burble tune which I shouldn't have used as often as I did.
