Imagine an Infiniti FX successor with a twin turbo V6, Attessa AWD, and NISMO tuning, with Nissan badging.

FX was built on the same platform as the Z33 and G35/Skyline... so technically could be considered a Skyline SUV.

Pathfinder, Armada/QX56... no, not so much, and kind of defeats the purpose either way.... a bad peformance option, and not a great upgrade for a people-and-cargo mover.

It would definitely make me forget about the existence of the Juke Nismo...

Skyline has always been a model line, with coupes, sedans and wagons. GT-R was just one trim level, and wasn't a separate model until the R35, IIRC.

Arguably the original Infiniti FX was already a Skyline sport CUV, and the EX was also based on the same platform as the rest of the Skyline model line, renamed to Infiniti models in the US, and sharing the platform with Nissan Z33, 34, and soon to be 35.
