Curious to hear everyone's stories of the best experience, road trip, event, etc that they've ever had in their past Z cars.
What's your best memory with your Z?
I had a Z32 TT while in college. Living in the Texas hill country at the time, that car was just what I needed anytime I needed to get away and unwind on some twisty roads. Many days and nights cruising around with no purpose other than to feel connected with the car and enjoy the ride.

Z’s have been in my family my whole life. My first experience was walking into a Datsun dealership at the age of 5 and seeing a white 240 on the showroom floor. I immediately fell in love. Years later my father ran that dealership and he drove Z’s ( Turbo S130’s, Turbo 31’s and 32’s). My summer job during high school was detailing trade-in’s. I’d always take my time on the Z’s. My sister had a ‘76 280 that I got to drive for a year when she was in college. Great times in that thing. My Dad sold the dealership in ‘90 and Z’s where not part of my life for awhile, but I still loved them. I started looking for an unmolested S30 and finally found my ‘75 280 several years ago. It’s is part of my family (kids, wife all love it). I’m really looking forward to the new Z as I plan get one and use as a daily driver.

My Z experience started with video games (before I was old enough to drive, like many of us) which lead me tuner magazines with them, then videos from Best Motoring, Hot Version, etc., online Z communities, a 95' 240SX (first car) and finally to a Z31. I later sold it for a 94' Z32 as they became more affordable.

Yeah Gran Turismo was a huge reason why I got into Nissans both Z and GTR.
as for my best memory with the Z its not the pic I always post of me sitting on my moms new 280z when im just a couple years old. thats only because I cant honestly say I remember it even thought it got me my start.

My best memory is probably buying my 2007 NISMO. its only because It was such a gut impulse thing. I remember I got a call from the sales manager who I had become friends with telling me Serial #33 and #34 just showed up at the dealer and he wanted me to come look at them. at the time I had an 2003 with the authentic JDM NISMO V2 aero kit and I had no intentions of getting a new Z. I pull up to the dealer and I see the #33 plaque on the black one and I just thought the #33 as in Z33. I got to have this car. The sales manager ended up buying the #34 for himself that day too. so I ended up trading my 2003 Z in right then and there with all the goodies on it and driving home with the NISMO. The memory just stands out to me so much because of how heightened my emotions were that day as I felt super excited on a total high but the thought of buying something like that 30 mins after seeing it literally made me feel like I was gonna throw up when I got home. I only got to keep it a little less than a year as I needed the money out of it at the time to afford my 09 GTR. To this day its the only car I have ever truly regretted getting rid of. Its the main reason why I want to get back in a Z
The other memory is me and my dad going to my first ever track day. this was maybe 2003 right after I got my first 350 and I was so green to track days and had only been driving a manual for like 6 months. It was a notoriously hard on brakes course and as a total newbie I remember I burnt up the front brake pads on the Z in two sessions, As luck would have it some nice guy at the track who also drove a 350z had an extra set and changed them for me so I could finish the day and get home. that day just stands out as instead of being discouraged I stuck with it really got into that track days and AutoX after that.
