What are some thoughts on do you believe dealers will mark up the Z? I can’t stand when dealers do this but it’s no stranger. Some cars have a big supply and demand. Is the Z that? On one side I feel Nissan wouldn’t allow the dealers to because they need sales and as great as this car is, it’s not quite that. Marking up can reduce sales in some cases. But this also could be a well desired car that Nissan hasn’t had in a long time causing stealerships to mark up.

I hope they won’t. It would go completely against the point of undercutting the Supra. My hope is Nissan does some type of preorder for the car. To get the cars in the hands of enthusiasts. This will not be my main mode of transportation. So this is ultimately going to be an expensive “toy” and if I’m spending close to $50k. It’s got to be exactly what I want. Or else I’ll be forced to wait out the initial wave of excitement and limited inventory.

I wouldn’t be surprised. Stealerships are a-hats about this thing some times. If that 5-10 grand is what you need to stay afloat then you aren’t a good dealership to begin with.

Assuming there is no way around it; then sorry Nissan...I won’t be buying until they charge the fair price.
